The Motivation to Work Hard Today

Have you ever been denied a raise? Passed up for a promotion? Left out of an important project at school or work?

Maybe it's time to reevaluate your work ethic.

We're all guilty of it...taking short cuts at work, procrastinating projects by watching YouTube videos, calling out of work cause you're just not "in the mood" to deal with customers.

But whether you're a part-time waitress or a full-time CEO, anything you do, you should do completely and to the best of your ability. A hard work ethic and a go-getter attitude will often get you farther in life than a college degree or years of training.

When you're lazy with the task at hand, an employer isn't able to see your full potential or trust you with more responsibilities. Promotions and raises go to people who do more, not less and not even just right...but to those that do MORE than what is expected!

As the old saying goes, dress for the job you want, not the job you have.

Today, I want to motivate you to work as if you have the job you want, not the job you have. Shake off that case of the Monday's and give it your all!

Plus, the satisfaction of knowing you gave it your best will be even sweeter when you settle down to relax after a hard day's work.

There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them. Denis Waitley
