Super Sunday...Time for a Super Choice

The easy choices come and go, usually with little thought or emotion. But, we also face some tough ones…choices that give us pause, that raise our level of concern, that even create a fear of failure within us.

Going back to school to finish our education, making a long-wanted career change, starting a new business, asking someone to marry us (or to recommit to the marriage we already have), even apologizing to someone we've been "out of sorts" with for years…are just a few examples. The most common tactic, in stressful times like these, is simply to postpone making our choice at all…we’ll get to it later, but not right now.

The problem with this tactic is not that we are postponing our choice, but that we are postponing the benefits that will come from making it. We have a tendency to “dance around” a difficult decision, one that could change our life for the better. Instead, rely on the desires of your heart and the visions in your head to support your choice.

Don’t postpone the choice to do something different, something you’ve always wanted or needed to do.

SUPER SUNDAY…A GOOD TIME FOR A SUPER CHOICE…no doubt about it.

There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them. Denis Waitley
